- Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and dried Italian herbs. Cook until beef is browned and cooked through, about 5 minutes. Drain excess fat and allow to cool slightly.
- Roll out the refrigerated pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface to form a 12 x 10-inch rectangle.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 3/4-inch border on all edges.
- Distribute the cooked ground beef evenly over the sauce. Layer the pepperoni slices over the beef. Top with mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan.
- Starting from one long side, roll the dough tightly into a log. Pinch the seam to seal.
- Use a sharp knife to cut the log into 8 equal pieces. Arrange the pieces cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops of each roll with olive oil. Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 3 minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh basil or parsley as desired. Serve warm with additional pizza sauce for dipping.
