10 - Let cookies cool on the tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • They look like tiny edible flowers on your platter, but take about 20 minutes of actual work
  • The combination of soft buttery cookie and chocolate center is ridiculously addictive
02 -
  • Pressing the chocolate in immediately after baking is what makes it melty and perfect—wait too long and it’ll just sit on top
  • These seem underbaked at 8 minutes but that’s exactly when you take them out—they keep cooking on the hot pan
03 -
  • If your kitchen is particularly warm, chill the dough balls for 15 minutes before baking to prevent spreading too much
  • Have all your kisses unwrapped before you start baking—that moment when cookies come out is no time to be wrestling with foil wrappers
